Dark Chocolate & Almond Haystacks |
1/2 cup (3 ounces) Lily's Dark Chocolate Sugar Free Chocolate Chips
1 tablespoon coconut oil
1 cup slivered almonds
Method:
Line a baking sheet with parchment or waxed paper. Set aside.
Put the chocolate chips and coconut oil in a glass bowl or measuring cup. Microwave for 30 seconds. Stir and heat for another 20 seconds. Stir in the almonds.
Drop by tablespoonfuls onto the prepared tray. (Makes 12 haystacks.)
Refrigerate for 15 minutes or until the chocolate is set.
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Makes 12 servings.
Nutritional information: Each haystack contains approximately 82 calories,
7 grams fat, 0.75 grams carbs & 1.8 grams protein.
