KETO Friendly Maple Pecan Praline Candies ~ VERY LOW CARB!!
Ingredients:
1 1/4 cups pecans
1/3 cup butter
1/2 cup Golden Monkfruit sweetener (or granulated sweetener of choice)
6 tablespoons heavy cream
1/2 teaspoon maple extract
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon pink Himalayan salt or sea salt
silicone muffin pan or cupcake liners
Method:
Preheat oven to 300*. Line a baking pan with foil or parchment paper. Scatter the pecans, in a single layer, on the prepared pan. Bake for 10 minutes. Set aside.
Line a muffin pan with silicone cupcake liners, or place a silicone muffin pan on a baking sheet and set aside.
In a large saucepan, over medium heat, melt the butter. Sift the sweetener and stir into the butter with the cream, extract. and cinnamon. Stir slowly, until the sweetener is dissolved and the mixture turns a golden brown color.
Remove the mixture from the heat and immediately stir in the pecans and salt.
Quickly divide the pecan mixture evenly between 12 muffin cups. Freeze until firm. (about 30 minutes.) Store in a covered container, in the refrigerator. Makes 12 candy servings.
