A delicious bun for burgers and sandwiches! |
cooking spray (coconut, olive or avocado)
3 tablespoons almond flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
dash pink Himalayan salt or sea salt
4 1/2 teaspoons olive oil
1 egg
"Everything But The Bagel Sesame Seasoning" (optional)**
Method:
Spray a small 4 inch diameter bowl with cooking spray. Add the flour, baking powder and salt to the bowl and stir to mix. Thoroughly beat in the oil and egg. Microwave on high for 90 seconds. Let cool for a few minutes.
Use a butter knife to loosen the the bread from the sides of the bowl. Invert to remove from the bowl. Slice through the midsection, to create a top and bottom bun. Toast before using for the burger or sandwich of your choice. Enjoy! Makes one bun.
**I purchased this seasoning at a Trader Joe's market and love it on this sandwich bun!
Note: I made a turkey sandwich with this bread. My NON KETO husband tried a bite and was quite impressed!
